Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing what school looks like for students of all ages. Join MIT Professor Justin Reich — director of the Teaching Systems Lab and host of the TeachLab podcast — for a timely community conversation on AI and education.
Reich brings a thoughtful, historically grounded perspective to how generative AI is transforming learning: what it means for critical thinking, creativity, and student motivation, and how educators are navigating questions no one has all the answers to yet.
"If the machine does the work… who does the learning?"
The evening closes with a live Q&A. Submit your question in the notes section when you register. Open to parents K–12, educators, and policymakers.
Presented by our Turning Life On coalition partners Winchester Let Kids Be Kids and Arlington Tech-Wise, together with Winchester Coalition for a Safer Community.
Check out pictures from some of our past events, including informative movie screenings, playground meetups, and arts & crafts workshops. We aim to go beyond sharing information by creating spaces for thoughtful conversation, real connection, and community building that extends beyond the digital world.
